Pentecost Day

18th May 2018

Last week we talked about Ascension Day where Jesus ascended into heaven promising to send the Holy Spirit.

Today the children did some wonderful drama work about Pentecost Day. They took the part of a disciple of Jesus showing how sad and scared they were after Jesus had gone back to heaven. They then showed how happy and brave they became when the Holy Spirit came to them. The children waved streamers the colour of fire as a sign of the Holy Spirit.

They then recorded the story of Pentecost as if they were a disciple of Jesus.

Well done children you did some fantastic writing.
