Y3: Arrays within Multiplication

15th Nov 2019

In mathematics we have been getting our head around the sometimes tricky topic of 'arrays'.

We have been learning how they can be used to help us with multiplication questions, especially if we do not know our times tables as well as we should.

We spent the week using equipment to make different arrays and representing them pictorially in our books.

We are going to continue practising this skill as we continue learning our times tables so that we develop our own personal tool-kits ready for times when we have to deal with these sorts of question - and find them tough!
