SJF Be Safe - Be Happy Week 2024: Wellbeing Dogs

5th Nov 2024

The children enjoyed a visit from Honey, an OK-9 therapy dog. Honey helps police officers if they ever feel sad or worried, she even has her own official police identity card.

She loved meeting all the children and afterwards the children talked about the importance of Tell! Tell! Tell! and who they can talk to when they have a 'worry ball' in their tummy.

They names their trusted adults, including school staff and family members, who will always help them and remembered our key 'Tell! Tell! Tell!' message as the best way to get help with any worries that they may have.

Mr Barratt is now going to see if the school can  have therapy dog visits more regularly.
