We have been enjoying decorating our classroom this week. Before the decorations were put up we were busy using our maths skills. With the baubles and bows we were busy sorting and grouping them by colour, size or shape and then we created repeating patterns. With the tinsel, we compared the length of each strand and found out which was the longest, and the shortest and we also compared the other pieces to each other.
We shared out all the baubles equally so that everyone had the same amount to hang on the trees. We are very happy with our lovely Christmas tree and our outside decorations - they look lovely.
