Y1: Our Virtues Class Worship

26th Sep 2021

In class we enjoyed a special act of worship linked to our 'Virtues to Live By', respect and courtesy

The children reflected on the importance of showing respect to everyone, no matter who they are.

We recalled our belief that everyone is unique and a child of a God who made us in His image. We remembered that Jesus' life is an example to each of us to treat others in the same way that we would treat Jesus.

Mrs Sambrook posed the questions:

'If Jesus walked into the room now and spent the day in your class how would you treat him?

What would you do?'

The children shared their ideas, which we then recorded in our scrapbook. The children's ideas included; sharing toys; making Jesus feel happy and safe; saying hello and being kind to him!
