Y2 Science: Materials and their Properties

15th Jan 2020

Today we investigated materials and their properties.

We were challenged to to if we could decide which material was best and most suitable for it's purpose, for example, a window is made from glass because glass is transparent, waterproof, hard, shiny, light to carry and install and strong.

Please ask your child about materials and why/how they are suitable for different purposes.

We listened to a song to help us look at the properties of materials, here is the link if you'd like to listen and perhaps singe along!
