FS2 Science Exploration

18th Jan 2020

The class has been investigating the properties of ice.

During this science activity, we have all tried to use lots of rich language as we have discussed and described the look and feel of ice and considered why it melts.

"It looks wet!"

"It looks clear!"

"It's see through!"

"It looks like glass!"

"It's shiny!"

"It feels wet!"

"It's smooth!"

"It's slippy!"

"It's very cold!"

"'It's melting!"

"It's turning into water!"

"It's got a hole in it!"

"Mine is smaller than yours!"

"Mine has all gone, it's water!"

"It's melting because it is warm!"
