The Sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation

7th Nov 2024

Receiving the Sacraments is key to the spiritual journey of all Christians. If your child is a baptised Catholic, and in Year 3 or above, please do not let them miss out on the opportunity to receive the very special Sacrament of Holy Communion.

All you have to do is to collect a form from the School Office. You can contact the parish directly if you would like more information about the programme of preparation that will lead to the children making their First Holy Communion next summer, on Saturday 21st June 2025. The closing date is Friday 15th November 2024.

Catholic children in Years 4, 5 or 6 - or above - are also invited to sign up, as long as they have been baptised.

Y6+ Catholic children interested in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation are also invite to join a programme or preparation, as long as they have been baptised.

Forms are available from either the school office or the church and the closing date for applications is Sunday 24th November 2024.

It would be great if more of our Catholic children signed up to join either of this year's programmes.

If you or your child(ren) are not a baptised and are interested in finding out more about our Catholic faith, please contact the parish office, or speak to Fr Bede directly. Thank you.
