Food Allergy Advice
26th Mar 2023
Please be aware that we have a number of children in school living with potentially serious food allergies, including some with significant nut allergies.
Whilst it is not possible to maintain school as a completely nut-free zone, there are important things we can all do to reduce the risk posed to vulnerable children.
We therefore request that parents/carers do NOT send their children in with foods containing nuts. This includes products like chocolate spreads and peanut butter and chocolate dippers, some rice cakes and cereal bars.
Children can bring fresh/dried fruit, only, to eat at morning break.
Thank you for your support and cooperation.
