Y1 Geography: Investigating Our Local Area

Drawing Maps

The children have used last week's fieldwork (our walk around the local area) and the data that they collected,  to help them draw maps. 

They used a linear style map to record the features that they noticed as we walked around the area, adding P (physical) and H (human) to show understanding of physical and human features.
