Happy Birthday NHS and Thank You!

3rd Jul 2021

On Monday 5th July 2021 we will celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the NHS.

As we do, we remember the huge and vital role this institution has played at the very heart of the UK’s response to this devastating coronavirus.

We think of the many sacrifices made by NHS workers and volunteers, in all their many and varied roles, both on the frontline and in those many and key supporting roles, to care; to support; to console; to hold; and to be at the vanguard of the national fightback with the successful development and rollout of vaccines.

We pray for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice during the pandemic simply by fulfilling their various and important roles - with such determination and courage - day in and day out, working long hours and often in uncomfortable conditions.

We give thanks to you and especially to the many in our own school community who work or volunteer for the NHS; parents, carers, grandparents and wider family members. Thank you all!

Happy birthday to our NHS!
