I Feel, I Can See, I Can Hear

We began our new book today, but I did not show the children the front cover and I only read them two pages.
Some poor toys were left outside - as our story begins.
The children pretended to be toys outside left alone at night.
They thought about what they could hear, see, feel and smell.
Back in the classroom they wrote punctuated sentences. Some children even tried using the word 'because' to add more detail!
