Following on from our learning about the four nations of the UK we have been learning all about London.
We looked at a map of the capital city and then investigated lots of its features, particularly its main landmarks.
These included:
- Buckingham Palace
- The London Eye
- Millennium Dome (O2 Arena)
- St Paul's Cathedral
- Tower Bridge
The children spent time discussing these landmarks before painting their own representation of tem.
