We have been working hard to consolidate our understanding of how to find half of any amount.
We used:
- ladybird pictures;
- our part part whole mats; and
- objects
to share objects equally.
We also learned that half is the 'inverse' of double e.g. half of 8 is 4 and double 4 is 8.
