Y1 Mathematics: Investigating Length

We have started thinking about length and and so have tried to use special vocabulary including:

  • long - longer -longest
  • short - shorter - shortest
  • tall - taller - tallest
  • height
  • length. 

Children compared themselves and cubes (snakes) using key vocabulary such as:

  • "I am taller than you"
  • "My snake is shorter than yours". 

We will continue to work on length this week.
