Y1 Mathematics: Investigating Length

We have started thinking about length and and so have tried to use special vocabulary including:
- long - longer -longest
- short - shorter - shortest
- tall - taller - tallest
- height
- length.
Children compared themselves and cubes (snakes) using key vocabulary such as:
- "I am taller than you"
- "My snake is shorter than yours".
We will continue to work on length this week.
