Mosaic work

We have been looking at the works of Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi and how to create mosaic art. Yesterday we painted sheets of lasagne pasta and let them dry. Today we broke up the pasta to make our mosaic tiles. Around half the class have already created their amazing art and we will continue with this tomorrow. The children have really understood the concept and looked carefully for the right shape or broke the pieces smaller for the correct fit. We are very impressed with their work!
