Multiplication

This week we have started to think about multiplication. We learnt that repeated addition (2+2+2+2) is the same as 4 x 2. The children have been representing this using concrete objects (resources) and will move on to using pictures and then counting in 2, 5, 10 without pictures to solve problems. Confident counting in 2s, 5s and 10s with your child will really help this.
