Our 'Statement to Live By'

13th Sep 2020

Our ‘statement to live by’ is “I can say one good thing about myself”

Time to talk: Sometimes we find it easier to say good things about others than do about ourselves. With someone at home think about all the things that you are good at - your particular skills and talents.

List them.

Afterwards think about the qualities that make you special and pick your favourite or favourites.

Talk about why it more important to remember all the good things about ourselves rather than the negatives.

Why is it important to always try to see the best in others, rather than focusing on their faults?
