Our 'Statement to Live By'

4th Nov 2018

Our statement next week will be ‘I try to stand up for myself without hurting others’.

Time to talk: Each of us is important, and during ‘Be Safe – Be Happy Week’ last week we were reflecting on just how special we each are. We all therefore deserve to be treated with respect.

We all have the right to be accepted for being just how we are and we have the right to feel happy, safe and loved every day.

If someone (or something) gets in the way of these rights then we should not stand for it.

We can and should stand up for ourselves and for others who being treated badly.

How can we do this without hurting others?
