Our 'Statement to Live By'

Our first ‘Statement to Live By’ of the year is: “We are all special”

Time to talk: We start each year with probably the most important statement of all.

It is important to know that:

  • we are all very special 
  • we are all loved
  • God is present in everyone's lives - and especially during tough times
  • we are all amazing and have been created to be unique and different to others (so being different is ok)
  • we all matter - our thoughts and feelings really do matter
  • loved as we all are, no one is loved more (or is more special) than anyone else

What makes your friends special to you?

What makes your parents, brothers and sisters, cousins, grandparents, uncles and aunts special to you?

Remember that God created each of us in the palm of His hand to be brilliant and to shine brightly. When we are feeling down on ourselves (or others) it is important to remember that everyone is fantastic in their own way!
