Our Book of the Week for Older Children!

1st Jul 2021

This week’s recommendation comes from Mrs Barrett and is called The Explorer’ by Katherine Rundell.

Mrs Barrett writes:

Having been a big fan of adventure stories for many years, it is always fantastic to find a new author of this genre.

‘The Explorer’ is a wild adventure, beginning with a plane crash leaving four children lost in the Amazon Rainforest. Massive creepy crawlies, killer fish and the discovery of an ancient civilisation. Danger is behind every tree!  Will they make it home? A cracking read, I couldn’t put it down.
