Our Latest 'Beat Your Best' Weekly Challenge!

21st Oct 2022

Last week our Sports Major, Oscar, organised and led an awesome BYB challenge, which many of the children attempted and enjoyed. Well done, Oscar, and everyone who had a go!

Mr Johnson has set the new BYB challenge.

All you will need is a box, a small ball and or a ball of socks.

The challenge is to throw the ball or socks into the box as many times as you can in 60 seconds.

Before you throw the item in the box, make sure you are at least five steps away.

Every time you throw the item, you will have to run and collect it go back to your starting position before repeating, again and again, until your time runs out. How many can you manage from five steps?

You can increase the distance and the time allowed if you want to up the level of challenge. What is the greatest distance that you can still manage throw the item in the box, consistently?

This simple but fun challenge will test both your throwing and agility skills.

Please make sure that you let your teacher and Mr Johnson know your best score and see if you can get your family members involved!

Can you beat your best?
