Today the children were thinking about:

why we have a school in a local area
what makes a building a school
what the school's address is

They then looked at aerial photos of school within the Hackenthorpe area and re-arranged strips of paper with the school address on, thinking about what each part of the address meant and told us.

Each child wrote a note to list key features of a school and the placed this in a envelope which they addressed to St John Fisher's address.

We can't wait for these letters to arrive back in school to prove that the address was correct.
