Our Statement of Belief

3rd Jun 2022

Our first ‘Statement of Belief’ of Term 6 is I notice we are the same and are different

Time to think: St John Fisher is a rich community made up of different people from different backgrounds. It is what makes our family such a special one, and we celebrate our diversity and give thanks for the way it enriches our school, our lives and our experiences.

We know that we are all children of God, and so it is important to always show respect to one another.

In our world there is still so much division and mistrust, so it is important, especially at this time of war in Ukraine, to focus on the things that we share in common, remembering that these things will always be greater, in the end, than that which separates and divides us.

Why do you think some people worry about difference and sometimes fear it?
