Our 'Statement to Live By' this Week

7th Jul 2018

Time to reflect:

To be forgiven is a gift.

Sometimes it is a gift that is difficult to accept because we feel too ashamed.

Sometimes we feel so bad and too unworthy to accept the forgiveness of others.

God calls us all to accept the forgiveness of those we hurt when it is offered - if we are truly sorry.

He died on a cross so that we can receive the gift of forgiveness.

He therefore calls us to not be afraid; to trust in Him; and to accept the forgiveness of others.

The act of forgiveness is an act of love.

God is love.

By accepting forgiveness we are accepting God...

                                                               ...and we are choosing freedom…
