'Our Statement To Live By' This Week

18th Mar 2018

‘I try to keep going when things are difficult and not give up’

Time to talk: Recently we have been thinking about why making mistakes (and then learning from them) is an important part of learning.

Next week we will reflect on why it is important to be resilient, especially when we are learning something new or making an important change in our lives.

At St John Fisher we teach our children to remain positive and never, ever, ever give up.

Can you think of a time when you refused to give up? How did you feel when things did not go quite as you wanted? What made you keep going? Did you achieve your goal in the end? How did it feel if/when it did?
