SJF Passion Play 2024

26th Mar 2024

Our beautiful Passion Play was led, as usual, by the young people of Years 3, 4 and 5.

The readings shared - recalling the Passion of our Lord - were the children's own words, and they were all the more powerful because of it.

So many commented on how moving and thought-provoking the play was.

We thank the children for fulfilling all their various roles with such commitment and confidence. The acting, reading and singing - everything - was incredible.

We thank Mrs Barrett and Mrs Hambleton for supporting the music, and all the staff from  Years 3-5 who were involved in preparing and supporting the children so brilliantly.

We thank Father Bede and our friends from the the parish for allowing us to use the church, and all the families and friends who were able to come along and join us on the day.

Finally, I would like to thank our friends from the PTFA for organising refreshments back at school afterwards.
