Polite Request

7th Jul 2019

Books & School Resources

We would be very grateful if you would please have a good look at home for anything at all belonging to school, including reading books, library books and other school resources that have been borrowed and not yet returned. Please return items as soon as possible, and by Wednesday 17th July 2019 at the latest.

As you know budgets are ridiculously tight and, sadly, there is no sign that things will be getting easier for schools any time soon. Therefore I need to be very careful and would like to avoid spending money replenishing items which we have loaned to children and families which have then not been returned. Please help us by having a good look and by returning anything you find. Thank you for your cooperation.

Reading Records

Please note that the reading records for children in FS2 and KS1 will be collected in by colleagues on Friday 12th July 2019 and for children in KS2 checks will be made on Monday 15th July. This is so we have just enough time to sort everything and award the correct Reading Awards before the end of term. Thank you.
