PTFA Information Evening

The PTFA held its an information/welcome meeting and AGM last Monday.

At the meeting the committee presented its accounts and talked about the various highlights of what has been a very busy and successful year: discos, Santa in School, a fashion show, the Friday Fayre, gifts for Mothers’ Day and Fathers’ Day, annual decorated egg competition, the enterprise challenge, transport to/from the Lyceum Theatre pantomime and snacks for the children whilst they were there, ice cream sales, cakes/refreshments after the annual Community Carol Service and refreshments at curriculum exhibitions and parent’s evenings -  it certainly is an impressive list of achievements!

The PTFA committee also acknowledged the tremendous support given by a number of different people at the various events too. We all agreed that your support of our small and dedicated PTFA committee is vitally important and very much appreciated by us all. Thank you.

The new 2019/20 Committee is: Mrs Prestidge (Chair), Mrs Denham (Vice Chair), Mrs Beatson (Secretary),        Mrs Cowlishaw (Treasurer), Mrs Cooper and Mrs Ball (Publicity). Mrs Cawthorne stepped down after great service to the PTFA. We all thank her sincerely for her tremendous support of the PTFA over the years.

If you would like to get more involved please contact the PTFA members directly via their email address: ptfa@st-johnfisher.org. All offers of help are welcome as well new ideas. Thank you.

The first monthly meeting of the PTFA will be on Tuesday 1st October 2019 at 6.30pm in the School Hall. All welcome. Why not pop along and meet everyone, especially if you are new to the school?
