PTFA Welcome Meeting & AGM
All parents, carers, members of extended families and friends are warmly invited to join members of staff at the 2022 PTFA Welcome Meeting and AGM.
- Monday 3rd October 2022
- 3.30pm, Y6 classroom
- supervised care of children in another classroom during the meeting
You can find out all about the things our PTFA managed to do for our children/families over the last twelve months as we emerged from the COVID-linked restrictions of the pandemic. You can also hear about the exciting provisional plans for the year ahead. You can also meet everyone and find out you can help in different ways that you can manage.
Whether you are a new parent/carer or have been in our community for some time; whether you have been involved previously with the PTFA or not – we need you. Please come along and find out more. Please bring friends and family with you. We need you all.
Our PTFA plays such huge part in school life, but the team is very small. Please consider offering ideas or a little time. Anything you offer, will be appreciated. Special and popular events led or supported by the PTFA e.g. Santa in School, the panto, Friday Fayre, discos etc. can only happen if people are willing to get involved.
As we move beyond COVID there is now much more scope for new ideas; new events aimed at children or families – or even PTFA socials aimed at just parents, carers and their friends and families!
As the PTFA plays such a crucial role in school life I hope that everyone will continue to get behind the new committee when it is elected, and support their important work! If you have ideas, questions or can offer your time, please contact the committee via email (ptfa@st-johnfisher.org). Please do not think that you have little to offer - we really do need you! We need more people to get involved to help our PTFA and school this year.
Our current committee has been fantastic, following in the illustrious footsteps of previous PTFA committees in achieving so much and punching well above their weight! We are so grateful to Mrs Cooper, the Chair, who was so ably supported by Mrs Ball, Mrs O’Donnelly, Mrs Patterson and Mrs Stanton. Thank you to everyone who has helped with PTFA events over the year. You are all very special and have made a real difference to our community because of what you have given to us.
