Safer internet day

7th Feb 2019

This week we joined in the whole school in learning about safe use of the internet.

We read two stories about problems that can be had online.

Digi-Duck reminded us it is important to be kind online as you would in real life and Smartie the penguin told us to always talk to someone or ask for help if you have a problem online.

In FS2 our main message is tell someone if there is anything at all that worries them when being online. It is useful to be near a grown up when playing online as that makes it much easier to talk to them about any problems.

We also talked briefly about healthy usage of online devises, as recommended in much of the press recently.

We discussed about not having tablets or phones in their bedrooms at nighttime so they can get a good nights sleep.

We chatted about the fun we could have playing games online but how it was vital to be safe.
