Y1 Science: Investigating Senses

20th Sep 2023

This week our Y1 scientists have been learning the five senses and the body part associated with it.

They thought about what they could see, hear, smell and touch outside - deciding taste was not a good idea.

They then sorted pictures into the categories they felt were the most appropriate e.g. chocolate was in the 'Taste' category.  However they also explained that they can also see, smell, touch AND taste chocolate too.

They then drew and labelled diagrams to represent the things they can see, hear, smell, touch and taste.
