Y4 Science: Electrifying Experiments!

1st Mar 2024

The children of Y4 have been working very hard on designing, creating and testing their own electrical circuits, before writing up their results.

Firstly, the children learned about electrical current, and what is needed in a successful circuit. They then worked in groups to design their own circuit in an attempt to light a bulb. They decided what apparatus they would need, and how each component would need to connect to each other for a successful experiment.

The children have tested their designs this week, and have found great success in lighting their bulbs. They have written up their experiments with beautiful presentation, and paying special attention to technical language.

Well done, everyone!
