SJF Eco Team Update

3rd Dec 2023
In our recent meetings, the children discussed ways to help our school during the season of Advent season before, as a group, deciding that they wanted to help with the creation of the School Advent Wreath.

Our SJF Eco Team members were then given the very special responsibility of collecting various evergreens, before using them to create a beautiful wreath.

Here is a word from Dom, one of our Y5 Eco Team members:

“It was a great responsibility to be given, and we enjoyed finding the perfect leaves. We liked having a look around the school at how many evergreen plants and trees we have in school too.”

The wreath, which was blessed by Father Bede during the Advent Service will be on public display during the season of Advent.
