SJF Eco Team Update

12th Dec 2021

Here is a message from Miss Brownbill our SJF Eco Team coordinator:

Our SJF Eco Team have met four times so far this school year. We have discussed various topics and explored how we can all do small things that can really make a difference to our environment and surroundings.

We met and discussed COP 26 and explored what the promises made could mean for the UK and our children. We learned about inspiring young climate activists who are paving the way for children who care about the environment.

We discussed how we can help in our school by encouraging our peers to recycle and use what we have carefully for example: not wasting paper.

We want to implement our litter picking rota so that we can keep our school grounds clean for animals and we will be creating bird feeders out of recycled materials to support the wildlife around our local area.
