SJF Healthy Minds Champions - Update

3rd Dec 2023
The Healthy Minds champions have been working pairs to create calming activity videos that can be used in classrooms to help children regulate and refocus on their learning and lessons. This week our HM champions have also been helping children who have fallen out with their friends.

The HM champions have also been focusing on the younger children this week as the weather becomes colder and breaktimes have to move indoors on occasions.

Our HM champions have been encouraging children to access our new ‘Games Board’, on display in the playground. If they notice a child (or children) are looking for a game to play they will take them to the board help them to choose a game or activity to play.

Our HM Champions will soon start working on the production of a termly podcast which will update everyone about what they have been doing along with tips and advice for children and adults to try.
