SJF International Week 2019

19th May 2019

As before, each year group will focus on a different country, developing a range of key skills as they investigate and learn about its location, maps, human and physical features, climate, culture, diversity, traditions, its peoples and much, much more.

Our cross-curricular approach will encompass all areas of the curriculum.

The children’s work will be displayed  at our final exhibition on Friday 12th July 2019 from 8.45am in the School Hall. All are welcome!

As preparation for the main week we are having a special dressing up day next Friday 24th May 2019.

The children and staff are invited to come to school dressed in a colour (or colours) from the flag of the country they will be studying. They can also wear national dress if they have it.

We would appreciate a minimum donation of £1 per child  to support us buying resources and treats for this special week. Donations will be collected on the school gate at the beginning of the school day.

Please support us, thank you!
