SJF Library Update
Please Help Our Library Grow!
Library funding has been restricted in recent years due to the funding issues faced by all schools including ours. We are therefore looking for individuals or businesses interested in sponsoring our library to help us fund its refurbishment. If you are interested please get in touch (enquiries@st-johnfisher.org).
We are also looking for generous families and companies who are interested in helping us to buy books (or who want to donate new or second-hand books to our library) so that we can increase and update the current stock. By supporting us to realise our ambitious plans for the library (either by supporting its refurbishment or through the donation of books) you will leave an important and lasting legacy which will create a library that will be enjoyed not just by pupils today, but also by those who will follow them.
The donation of second-hand books is appreciated, and we very much hope that this will continue. However there are also many amazing brand new titles and books that you might not have or considered and we hope to restock the library with as many of these new titles as possible, in order to ignite our children’s imaginations and give them fresh opportunities to discover new worlds and experience new adventures.
To help guide you towards the titles we are looking for please look at an excerpt of our wish list below. We do not mind if the books are second-hand but we do ask that they are in a good condition.
To show our gratitude and deep appreciation we will display the family/company names of any supporters and donors in the library and inside the cover of any books they give to us.
Below is our wish list, please share and let everyone know that we are looking for these titles specifically and for sponsors too. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions. Many thanks in advance, here are a few of the titles from our wish list:
