FS2: Exploring Snowdrops

7th Feb 2025

The children in FS2 had noticed some beautiful snowdrops growing outside our classroom window. We went on a walk to have a closer look. We thought they looked so tiny and delicate but we also think they must be very strong to grow in the cold and wet winter weather. We enjoyed looking at our school grounds- pointing out the evergreen and deciduous trees and bushes and the green shoots of the daffodils; we also could hear some birds singing and we wondered if they were making nests ready for the springtime.
