FS2: Teddy Bears' Picnic and Sleepover

Following on from reading 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt', the class decided how we could cheer up the bear who appeared to be sad at the end of the story.

They came up with some fantastic ideas, one of which was to hold a party and this is why we decided to invite our own bears and soft toys along to a picnic!

The children made their own sandwiches and spread either butter, jam or spreadable cheese.

They also enjoyed 'Teddy Faces' crisps and party ring biscuits too, as well as the special teddy biscuits we baked ourselves.

The bears then had a sleepover in class and in the morning we discovered that there had been some strange shenanigans!

It turns out that the bears had been playing overnight and today the children have been writing about what their bears have been up to!
