Y1 History: Our Teddy Timeline!

30th Sep 2022

Today we have been looking at teddy bears from the past.

The children learned about the first teddy bear made, and why they had long arms.

They considered how the bears have changed over they years, having noticed that the original teddy bears look very different from 'teddies'/'cuddlies' that we are used to today. The children compared different bears and considered similarities and differences.

Finally they added pictures of bears to a simple timeline.

Mrs Sambrook LOVES teddy bears and enjoyed the chance to share her bears with the class.
