This week's 'Statement to Live By: 'I stand up for others who are being treated unfairly'

10th Jun 2018

Why is it important to stand up for those being treated unfairly?

What might happen if we say or do nothing when we see someone being treated unfairly?

How can we stand up for someone safely without putting ourselves at risk?

Who can we talk to about something we are unhappy about or unsure of?

Can you think of anyone who has stood up for you?

What about someone else who was being treated unfairly?

Can you think of anyone who has stood up for others peacefully?

What do you remember about St Theresa of Calcutta, Rosa Parks, William Wilberforce and Mahatma Gandhi?
