SUPPORT & ADVICE DURING THE CRISIS

Dear Parents and carers,

School nurses are also available to offer advice and support to anyone feeling vulnerable during the current emergency around the key issues of:

  • sleep
  • fussy eating
  • bed wetting/continence issues
  • emotional wellbeing

Please call Beth on 0114 3053285 (Monday-Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm).

A reminder that you can also call us here in school too if you need to talk to someone, feel anxious, isolated or need any practical help. We will do all we can to support you.

Please also continue to look out for one another and stay in touch via all available means e.g. parent WhatsApp groups. If you become concerned about anyone, let us know. In these difficult times we have to look out for one another. Sadly it is all too easy for someone - or indeed a whole family - to become vulnerable suddenly.

If your child is entitled to income-based free school meals please get in touch if you would like further information about the weekly lunch hampers we can arrange for you.

Please note this offer is for children whose parents/carers are in receipt of income-based benefits only.

The offer is not open to parents who have children entitled to universal free school meals (because they are in FS2 and Years 1 and 2) but who do not rely on income-based benefits with.

A reminder that the next set of work will be available from our SJF 'Home Learning' portal (https://www.st-johnfisher.org/home-learning/) on Monday 6th April 2020.

Thank you and take care.

Mr F Barratt - Headteacher
