UPDATE: Healthy Minds Champions

20th Jan 2024

Here are a few words from Mrs Murphy, Coordinator, SJF Healthy Minds Champions

HMC Podcast
Don’t forget to check out the fantastic first episode of our Healthy Minds Podcast, presented by Willow and Jomi, available on the homepage (here). Our hosts for episode 2 of the podcast will be Eliana and Amelia, who will be preparing (and recording) the next episode, which is due out in the final week of Term 3.

Meeting Update
In our meeting this week, our Healthy Minds Champions talked about the positives they had seen from their work as HM champions. They have noticed that children are using the calming techniques effectively when they are shown them and this had enabled some children to calm themselves down more quickly. The children feel that they have made new friends as a result of their work as HM champions. There will be new rota soon so more children can be supported in school.

A Special Invitation
The Parents/Carers of our Healthy Minds Champions are invited to a special presentation created by our champions at 2.45pm on Thursday 25th January 2024 which will include an opportunity to watch videos that their children have created as part of their role. Refreshments and tasty treats will also be provided!
