Y3 Science: Water in Plants

26th Feb 2019

Today in Science we used celery to investigate how water travels through the stem of plants.

We also looked at how we could change the colour of a flower using food colouring and water.

All you need is:

  • a white flower with stem attached
  • some food colouring
  • a container.

Leave the stem in the water for a few hours and see if the colour of the petals start to change.
