Y1: Weston Park Museum Trip

20th Oct 2019

Wow!

What an exciting we all had to Weston Park Museum!

After sorting our bags we looked at the old toy display with a museum curator and told her how we could tell if a toy was older or new.

Then we went upstairs into the classroom and played with lots of toys before choosing a favourite to go in our very own display cabinet.

Each child then made a clay toys (based on noughts and crosses) which has been sent home to air dry. I hope you enjoy playing the game.

After lunch we looked around the rest of the museum at the exciting exhibits.

The children were a credit to school, their families and themselves. I'm sure they will be very tired tonight.

Huge thank you to the adults who accompanied us today, it is very much appreciated.
