FS2: Walking in a Winter Wonderland!

30th Nov 2023

The children in FS2 love our outside area and this autumn and they have been noticing all the changes in nature as the months have passed.

On Thursday we were all very excited to see the first snow on the ground. They therefore wrapped up well before going outside to explore...

They explored how the snow and frost had changed the garden as they felt the freezing cold leaves. They crunched the snow and made lots of wonderful patterns with their hands and feet.

Whilst on the big playground they had lots of fun as they noticed the moon in the sky even though it was very sunny and they were all amazed at just how long their shadows were.
