Y4 BSBHW 2023

3rd Nov 2023

To start off Term 2, our school have been enjoying our annual "Be Safe, Be Happy" event. The children have spent the whole week enjoying a range of lessons and activities surrounding highlighting issues around safety and wellbeing.

The children learned about safety on the roads, fire hazards, winter water safety, railway safety, 'Street Smart' stranger safety and staying safe when online. The children also gained so much from very informative and participative sessions around bullying awareness, as well as using the NSPCC website to talk about their great PANTS initiative.

We also enjoyed visits from Mr Paige, who talked about the dangers of building sites - and Megan from LINKS, who showed us some great ways to feel happy using music and dance.

The children engaged fully with the sessions, and shared some amazing insights in our discussions.

It has been such a super week for us all!
