Y4 Science : Exploring the Properties of Gases

Today we conducted three science experiments to explore the different properties of gas. We learned that, (i) gas can be poured (we made carbon dioxide and poured it to extinguish a flame!); (ii) gas is lighter than a liquid (dancing raisins!); and (iii) gas has mass (weight). Here are a few photographs of our experiments in class...
