Y5: Ancient Egyptian Canopic Jars
29th Nov 2019
This week Y5 have been designing their own canopic jars. Canopic jars were the vessels used to hold the organs of mummified pharaohs in Ancient Egyptian times. Each jar has the head of one of the four sons of the god Horus: Qebehsenuef, Duamutef, Imsety and Hapy. Y5 have created some fantastic designs and will begin to make their very own clay canopic jar in the coming weeks!
